Referral Treatment 
As per the SDCEP document, ‘Conscious Sedation in Dentistry, Dental Clinical Guidance’, 2022, practitioners referring patients for sedation have responsibilities. Please read here to review these.

Please provide us with as much information about your patient as possible i.e. ASA grade, BMI, full medical history. ASA guidance can be found here.

We will provide your patient with patient information leaflets prior to their appointment, but it would be helpful if you could direct them towards our sedation patient information leaflets on our website.
 

As per FGDP Guidance Notes for Dental Practitioners on the Safe Use of X-Ray Equipment, 2nd edition, 2020, dentists referring patients for CBCTs should have Level 1 and Level 2 core training. We also require a service level agreement to be drawn up with the referring dentist prior to accepting referrals.
